Honestly, it is super annoying when you go to a Venusian template-based planet to explore it, but the navball's minimap only shows the cloud cover, and not the actual surface itself. This makes traversing difficult, or in many cases straight up impossible.
Here's an example:

As you can see, the surface is mainly yellow-orange with tiny puddles of lava scattered around. But, as i mentioned, the minimap displays the creamy and white cloud cover that i set for it.
As some people may know, clouds for planets made with either the venusian or terrestrial template are stored in the scaled space and do not appear on the equirectangular map nor the quad sphere.
The latest version of Sergeaa in the latest version of the stock system seems to display some of the terrain (notably the lava lakes) while also mixing it with the cloud cover, however i haven't found out how to mimic this witchcraft yet.
A possible fix to my issue is to simply have the minimap read off of the equirectangular map or quad sphere (i think the equirectangular map reads off of the quad sphere itself, who knows), however i don't know if this possible to do in the coding. This would make the minimap correctly display the terrain instead of the clouds. It likely wouldn't break gas giants either (as both venusians and gas giants use the Color Bands element to generate their clouds and stripes respectively), since gas giants have the pattern applied to both the quad sphere and the scaled space, whereas venusians only store it in the scaled space as said above before.
