New fuel tank placement system

Is it just me or dose it feel like this new mechanic hurts more than it helps? It just feels like you have to fight the system, which is the opposite of SimplePlanes’s system. I was trying to make a multi-ion engine craft and I could not get all the engines on one fuel tank. Also, is there a Way around it?
