When warping time with “physics update frequency” set to “medium”, orbital trajectories (and relative apoapsis, periapsis, etc.) are “shifted” alongside the spacecraft. The result is that, instead of simply “shifting” the spacecraft along its orbit, both the spacecraft and the orbit itself are shifted through space, resulting in a completely different orbit after the time warp. The only solution to this seems to set “physics update frequency” to “high”, then everything is back to normal.
