docking disconnect bug

i have a fuel tank ij orbit with multiple normal sized ports. i have 1 lander connected and when i try and dock another one on the opposite side from thr first lander, it disconnects my first lander. then when i try and reconnect the first lander, it instantly disconnects. if i try a third time, it wont let me dock and the docking status will just say ready and wont show a percentage.
