Astronauts being able to carry / hold parts and small crafts

I think it would be cool if astronauts could hold / carry crafts that are below a certain mass And the more massive the object the more astronauts required to carry it. This would be cool because you could have multiple astronauts carrying a small sounding rocket or have construction and repairs in space
