So i'm using electric engines as my separation engines (for the instant thrust they provide) but they stop working completely as soon as i separate them from the main craft. The boosters have some vizzy in them telling them to increase the throttle to 100% after separation which i have confirmed still works

You need to have batteries on your rockets for the electric engines to work now.
