I think that after adding career mode, in the future, you could add communication antennas and research pieces, for example: atmospheric pressure meter, research tubes with "plants", solar radiation meter, etc., there are a series of pieces that they could be created for the purpose of doing research and fulfilling Career Missions/Contracts.
