solar panels have not charged the battery on any craft. never had this issue in the past but just noticed it tonight. i double checked all part settings. photo dont show much but its been on 92% with no charge after a long time warp and all electronic parts turned off with 2 panels displaying 85% efficiency and 1 at 26% efficiency. 2nd craft in a row it hasnt worked.
The solar panels are recharging, but the battery packs are huge and take a lot of time to rechrage. The battery capacity on that craft is about 11.6 GJ, which is 11.6 billion joules and the solar panels are recharging at around 1,000-2,000 joules per second, so that would take a long time to recharge. Try hitting warp 50,000x and you will see the battery recharge.
