Eclipse does not produce shadow on the surface of Luna. It also appears that you can see the reflection of the sun on parts even though Droo is clearly blocking the sun.

@SupremeDorian Well, if theres a planet/moon inbetween you and the sun, yes. But that sunlight still tends to go through the planet, not casting a shadow on you.

i agree, i feel like a pc rocket game should also have eclipse graphics like the astronomer’s visual pack mod in ksp
