Similar to the magnet part in simple planes, this would stick to anything it touched and would allow us to pick up craft without a docking port. We would not be able to transfer fuel but it would be helpful to deorbit debris.

Absolutely need them. Magnets, while they dont transfer fuel on their own, the option to stick to whatever part of the craft you want allows you to move the craft to a docking port that may not otherwise be accessible. This would give us way more creative freedom. Hands down my favorite suggestion so far.
