The motor is able to work with the energy generated by the solar panel but the command pod internal battery once drained can't be filled back up

I cannot reproduce this. If I enter warp mode to speed things up, I can see the command pod's battery is recharged by the solar panel in the example craft that you have.

@AndrewGarrison btw, I was in 2x warp and left the laptop running for about 5 min. I don't know if it should show a 1% change in that time
