Modular probe cores

If anyone has ever played realism overhaul for KSP, you will be familiar with the modular probe cores that are used for your spacecraft, I would love to see some customizability on the defeat flight controller in the game, potentially adding limitations for what functions it can provide until that level of progression or settings are reached.
