These are two same parts which are largened by tinker, and are for making a round part. when I put them together, the one I am dragging always turn to be horizontal. I want it to detect the same section of the parts when connecting so that they could be easily put together.

In the Move Part Tool panel, disable Auto Rotate Parts. Rotate the part 90 degrees and then connect them.
