As far as I've been able to tell, it's impossible to actually tell how many kL of fuel you're going to use before you attempt a challenge since, in the builder, the fuel units are in kg. Up to now I just build a rocket, hope I'm not vastly underestimating how much fuel I'm using, then attempt the challenge, only to find that I did, in fact, vastly underestimate how much fuel I'm using. The way the game currently works, it would seem the only way to actually plan out one of these challenges would be to intentionally fail just to get some figures in order to make a table to then convert kg to kL while in the builder to make sure you don't over-fuel. So unless I'm missing something here, please please change the challenge fuel units to kg so we can actually build with purpose.

You can also use maths to find the volume of the tank you're using.

kL is not interchangeable with kg. Kerolox, hydrolox, and methalox all have different densities.

I've just become aware that you can monitor your current build fuel in kL by clicking on the challenge title at the top of the screen while in the build menu, and while that does technically solve the problem, that is not intuitive in the slightest. I've completed all but a couple challenges, have 120 hours in the game so far, and was never ever compelled to click the title of the challenge at the top of the build screen until I accidentally ran my mouse over it just now and found out that it could be expanded. Also this absolutely essential info panel cannot be moved around the screen like other info panels, but covers up the radius/length info while you're resizing parts. So my suggestion still stands.
