so if your orbiting Droo for instance and you are warping and recording a video for YouTube and you want to select the planet you are orbiting or maybe a different craft or far away planet so that the camera continually points towards it you can do that, of course only if you guys add this to the roadmap that is...

+1 for me. Essential for creators. I use it all the time in KSP. A few other lock camera modes would be great too.
