I tried to replicate a bunch of different capsules, but, everytime I get a weird effect in which when the parachutes are opened in the atmosphere ( this bug were already active since 0.7.9x versions) the capsules start to spin faster and faster as the atmosphere get denser .
The only thing which avoid this problem, is to lock the craft on retrograde if it has reaction controls or gyroscopes.

Steps:
1-Play normaly, using , for exemple, the basic capsule present in the "new rocket" craft or in my slightly modified craft.

2- Launch the game and put the capsule in a sub-orbital trajectory, let it fall .

3- Before activating the parachute stage, unlock the heading and let the craft free of movements.

4-Activate the stage , wait until the parachute is completly opened , (stabilise the capsule, if needed, by locking heading on retrograde for 2 secs) and observe that the craft starts to spin faster and faster.

There is a video ( bad quality sorry ) of what I experience with: SADNESS

Have good day, please fix this, it's so annoying even more when there are multiple parachutes. :'/

    Yeah… when I actually did a mission, the capsule still aggressively spun around in the atmosphere

    @pedro16797 I was thinking about that. And... It's true! But dont tell me that my apollo capsule should behave the same way, it has 3 paprachutes and it still spins like crazy.
    The problem is not the fact that the craft is unstable, like capsules in real life, air can create conflicts in terms of aerodynamic and chutes behaving . But, my problem is : it spins faster and faster even when it has multiple parachutes opened and not in a single point like this capsule does.
    And I don't think this problem happens in real life...

    Your capsule is hanging on a single point and in that video you gave it a huge snap when the parachute fully deployed. I think this is how it would behave irl (plus the cord would get entangled, the parachute would fail to open and the craft would crash)
