Staging is broken after astronaut boards craft

I can see the"stage"button,and I point it,but the stage doesn't work.

Are you referring to the lack of an Activate Stage button in the mobile UI while controlling a seated astronaut? On PC I can activate stages by pressing the spacebar. I just want to make sure I understand the issue being reported here.
