If you edit the center of mass of a part the game doesn't show the real center of mass in the editor.

In the screenshot you can see the center of mass of the craft under control (the one with the command pod in x-4.5) seems to be in the limit of the edited cargo bay, but if you launch it stands still.

If you change to the other craft in editor you'll see the center of mass right over the command pod but if you launch it falls to the back.

A solution to my specific problem would be half tanks/fairings (or the possibility to change the apperture, like a PacMan mouth that can open and close). I don't know if a solution of the center of mass calculation is that important since changing the center of mass of a part it's not an ingame mechanic.
