upon part destruction the spring stops working
go to the simple rockets website
Search for the user Jlyx1512
go and check his crafts
download the mars truck
once loaded in make sure the springs are working
then destroy the fairing over the wheel
It's made of 3 segments, destroy the middle segment (in blue in thumbnail)
Then test again
suspension/spring is broken

i found that it works on other craft as well
i don't remember if it's only when you manually destroy a part
or
if it happens when a part is destroyed regardless of whether it was manual or not
