Weather its an engine or wheels, they cut off immediatley after throttling up. The only way for me to launch a rocket or drive a rover is to constantly hold down the throttle or it will shut off instantly.

Is it possible you have a joystick plugged in that is overriding your throttle setting?

@AndrewGarrison Thank you for your help, my controller was connected through bluetooth and I didnt realize it.
