Sun has no atmosphere or heat around it.

if you make a riduculous rocket (with 25km/s of delta v) and fly it into the sun it will not burn up. it will just fly toward the sun and eventually the sun will disapear. if you are set to collide you will just impact on the invisible surface, instead of getting incinerated.
