Get a fuel tank, or other part that uses shell connections, clone it and place it on the bottom of the original tank. The y rotations will have a difference of 180 degrees. This is only for shell connections from what I found.
Update: I have been testing more, and noticed that this would happen when done for the top of some parts. So far that list includes struts, and fairings.
