An option to have range limits would be helpful as at the moment the only way to even partialy achieve this is to find a way to put physical barriers around whatever part is swinging to contain it's degree of motion.
This is not always easy or practical and may result in adding many unecessary parts to a construct.
Of more concern is that the success rate of this solution is hit and miss as it relies entirely on collision detection's reflexive lag and response. At present there seems to be no reliable solution for this issue.
