It might be that you have locked the heading (by pressing Enter or hitting the Lock button in the bottom left nav panel). This is a different mode of control where pitch might feel backwards. If you notice that your pitch still seems backwards, please check that your heading is not locked. If it is indeed unlocked, then let me know and I'll re-open this bug report. Thanks for submitting!
