So since you can save a location where you can launch rockets, I think you should be able to have a launchpad that goes with it (if you choose). Since astronauts are in the game, making bases is a lot more fun and a lot more important. So if you would be able to launch a rocket from your base that would really be amazing and you could get long distant missions done a lot faster. The launchpad should be an option on the save location screen and you can enable a launchpad or disable it. When its placed, it should be built in the ground so you cant move it and it should be facing up and flat. The launchpad should be a decent size or you could be able to change the size using a slider. And if you want to get rid of it, then you should be able to blow it up or just delete it.
