On low mass crafts, tested in orbit, a gyroscope, if turned on, makes the craft jitter from side to side - if the gyroscope is turned off when this is happening, the craft will roll in whatever direction the jittering went.

This can be addressed by reducing the gyro power or adjusting the autopilot PID settings.

@pedro16797 in my testing the jittering is also present at about 30 m/s when retrograde landing on Droo

Note: When slowing time down the jitter stops, there may be a precision error.
