Rotators and other electronics don't require a battery to run. I think that the bigger the rotator (or electronic), the more power should be used.

The new landing gear part also doesn’t use battery. What if everything that would require power irl would in sr 2 too. Like using ailerons, deploying solar panels, opening cargo bays, control under command chip etc.
Now I don’t have SR 2 yet and am waiting for mobile release so I don’t know much about what currently uses power and not.
