It would be nice to implement a heat sheild that could attach to the side of a rocket, kind of like a belly heat sheild that the space shuttle had. When you try to make a rocket that heavily relys on drag for control when rentering the atmosphere for example a space shuttle you heat up way to quickly and end up burning. Conclusion add a side heat sheild/belly heat sheild or make a heat sheild that can be implemented to bigger crafts. Please upote this thank you.

@Pedro any update about heat shield tiles, cause it's almost impossible to make heat shield like Starship or Space Shuttle.

you can easily tweak the heat shield setting with the Tinker Panel

@omna you can add heatshield to any part in the game, effectively turning it into a side heatshield, so it is very unlikely that something like this will be ever added
