When you save a craft, it messes up the staging.
Reproduce:
1. Make sure you edit the staging on a craft
2. Save

@AndrewGarrison Sorry to take so long to reply, but as far as I can tell, things are put in a random order. The only thing that's definitive is that it will go back to the same thing every tome.
