ever since the prosedural (i hope i spelled it right...) i havent been able to auto-resize if the selected part is bigger than the part i want to connect it too. It only works if the part is smaller that the part i wish to connect the selected part to.

The fuel tank will not be resized if it has parts connected to either end of it. You can quickly change the radius of a fuel tank by entering the Part Shape Tool (F) and then selecting the joint and nudging the size slightly up or down and then back.

it will only resize the top when i make the selected part smaller than the part i wish to connect it to
