Make a part like a strut or mini-fuel tank that is designed to be held by an astronaut with a passive mode and active mode. Passive being where the astronaut just grabs it, and if the part is connected to a rotator or hinge rotator, the astronaut's hand would stay on it as it moves, and active being where the astronaut brings it to a certain position in front of him or her, and move it around.

YASHHHHHHH maybe there could be a part that astronauts can attach/remove that allows you to grab on to a loose object or one with a docking port/separator and then you could weld it/attach it to the thing you want without the need for a command part and rcs/an arm so space walks can have another purpise
