By default, when you set fins to "Pitch" they go opposite directions like on "roll," then you hace to ruin symetry to fix it. There is no invert on mirror option shown

The problem is that the designer doesn't know which way to orient the wings, so it's confused. You can fix this by selecting your command chip -> Part Properties -> Adjust Pilot Orientation -> Set Default.
