It is fine for building rockets, but if you try to build anything else, you will become VERY annoyed by how hard it is. The designer forces a part like a fuselage to rotate to the way the fuselage you're connecting it to is facing, making it extremely hard and annoying to build anything besides rockets. The designer in simpleplanes was great for building anything. Please vote if you agree this needs to be improved.

The designer is actually very easy to use, just takes about 100 hours to become effective and efficient with it

@deusalgor oh found it. but that still doesn't work. now it won't auto rotate, but it can't connect to the sides of a fuselage at all

You can toggle off parts auto rotation and auto resize at any moment of time...
Look closer on part move tool's checkboxes.

@Chancey21 different modes would be nice. i got so frustrated trying to build a service tower for my rockets
