Auto Credit Based on HelixX's Kaerasio
A large molten planet. The extremely strong tidal forces causes metal to heat to intense temperatures. Its proximity to Falikilasio causes the molten metals to be yellow hot once erupted.
The orange coloured metalic surface is made from is a mixture Copper, Chromium and other rare or valuable metals.
It is thought that every ~20 million years the planet experiences re-surfacing events whereby the surface is completely overrun by molten metals which then cool and form new surface features. Due to this, the surface is young at only 5 million years old.
Layers of differing metal compositions are present all the way to the mantle where the metals melt away into the sub-surface ocean.
