A tropical moon with oceans, very diverse biomes, fauna and a dense atmosphere, covered in what seems to be vegetation. It's the closest moon around Thempestis and the only of them to have complex terrestrial life . It has unfortunatedly a non-breathable atmosphere for Droods because it's rich in ammonia meaning it's not the most ideal place for a stable colony. Marine life forms are also very diverse. Ice caps are almost absent.

@Tallisar Well whatever Life forms exist on the Planet are MOST likely like shrimps in deepest caves, molluscs and Deep Sea things. They live where you'd expect no Life and they adapt somehow. Surely they aint nothing like what we know....

The problem with Avatar is that it has an absurd amount of carbon dioxide in its atmosphere (>18%). With your given comment, I am going to assume that the ammonia content is very similar. Ammonia at such concentrations is highly toxic and corrosive to tissue. Even at 300 ppm or ~0.03% is considered IDLH. On the other hand, Carbon Dioxide is not as toxic and is instead more on an asphyxiant. Moreover, the IDLH is considerably higher than Ammonia, as it is 40 000 ppm or ~4%. Therefore, it is the not the same principle, @BeaconIndustries. The way life could adapt to an ammonia-rich atmosphere is by evolving a different biochemistry, likely using ammonia as a solvent instead of water and existing at very low temperatures. Such life might also need to find alternative ways to breathe and protect itself, as high levels of oxygen would break down ammonia. Silicon-based life forms could potentially adapt to an ammonia-rich atmosphere or world, as silicon chemistry is more resilient to the basic nature of ammonia than carbon-based life is. What I am saying is, life will need to be fundamentally different than earth-like life. However, this is just my inference, do seek your own research.

@Tallisar The Life forms there adapted somehow.......don't ask me how. If you seen Avatar then maybe it's the same principle

Planets would have a way easier time in my opinion adapting compared ti other life
