A large, ancient desert planet with very little water and no life.
This planet formed quite quickly, just after Casitsa. It initially formed as a terrestrial planet before the arrival of comets and centaurs, which produced its massive oceans.
These oceans were temporary, as Saldis exited the T-Tauri star phase and fusion ignited in its core, the oceans were boiled off and blown away. This left Takila as a desert planet.
Takila has one of the oldest surfaces in the Saldis system, unchanged and undisturbed, apart from some impact craters. However these impact craters are old too, wind and errosion causes them to blend into the geography of the planet.
Takila is the brightest object in Dalkso's skies, outshining Cyclo by about 2x even if Cyclo is closer to Dalkso.
Any asteroid under ~3km radius is burnt up in Takila's dense atmosphere, meaning only large asteroids can fall to the surface.
Takila has two captured moons: Maxo and Tailo
