Second planet of Sinai star, thin cold atmosphere. Meropis contains more water than Ararat, Nysa, and Eden combined. The mantle of this planet is composed entirely of water. The heat from Sinai melted the side of the crust that always faces the day side.
With a mass comparable to that of Ararat, Meropis became the third target for terraformation. Efforts to terraform the planet were abandoned when scientists realized that increasing the temperature would melt any viable ice-based land. This world was once a friendly to all people. The influence of the Fundementalists in recent years however has made this world hostile to non-believers.
