it is a tidally locked object with its star-facing side completely scorched and melted into a swirling ocean of red-hot lava, and with its space-facing side engulfed in darkness and freezing temperatures. lakes of the red hot magma creep through the crust on the space-facing side, partially illuminating it in some patches and spots. the space-facing side is also subject to a constant battering of earthquakes, caused by the violent thrashing and flowing of the lava on the star-facing side, heating up the core to millions of kelvin and creating a perpetual swirling sphere at the core of Vostron. this also generates a magnetic field. and though its relatively fleeting, whenever it appears, it appears strong and sudden.
