Although many people believe Cherulan deserves the title 'The Odd Rock' more than Cerratrune, strangely, they find Cherulan quite beautiful. Although Cerratrune has beautiful cracks and canyons, many people are in awe of the craters. The swirly pattern is an effect of the disfiguration and collection of the dust and materials of Torreah's rings, as well as the tidal forces acting on the moon.

Despite Cherulan being the odd-one-out, it still looks great and is interesting just like the other Torrean moons. Its location in the rings of Torreah induces interesting and unique views from Torreah and its brother moons. The dark side of Cherulan is quite dark, but when it casts an eclipse on Torreah, the nights are quite bright, just enough to see by. Cherulan also has rough terrain, coupled with the extremely low gravity, making landing and traversing land difficult.
