Azurea is a low mean density gas giant defined by its uniform, pale cerulean albedo, a result of a high-altitude haze of methane ice crystals that uniformly scatter incoming stellar radiation. It possesses a hydrogen-helium envelope where methane concentrations act as a selective spectral filter, absorbing long-wave red light to produce a luminous, cold blue luminescence. The planet’s low internal heat flux results in a stable, stratified atmosphere with minimal convective bandings, giving it a serene, marble-like appearance.
Encircling its equator is a vast, high-reflectivity ring system of fragmented water ice and silicates, which shimmer against the planet’s tranquil, light-blue backdrop under the influence of distant starlight.

EQUIRECTANGULAR MAP
Azurea has a mean density of 1588.728 kg/m3, so, compared to a gas giant like Jupiter--which has a mean density of 1326.2 kg/m3--Azurea is roughly 19.79% denser. Comparing it to the least dense object in our Solar System, Saturn--which has a mean density of 687.1 kg/m3--Azurea is about 231.22% denser.
