Auto Credit Based on SolarCompany's MK2
MK2 is the only known moon orbiting the Kuiper Belt dwarf planet Makemake, discovered in April 2015 by the Hubble Space Telescope.
Roughly 160–175 km in diameter, this dark, charcoal-colored object orbits at a distance of over 21,000 km.
Its discovery suggests that many other large trans-Neptunian objects may have undetected moons.
