Population: 8.35 Billion
Major Population Hub and Energy hub of The Commonwealth
"Orange...Orange, reds and dark yellows everywhere, not to mention the terrain, heck was it beautiful, it seems that being a colonist for this world is a privelidge, its lifeforms so alien, some even emitting their own light, we sure could use those as natural lighting for night!"*
-Diary Entry from a Colonist upon touching down on Sellius, describing the landscape
(T)"Sellius... would you look at that! damn, that's a lot of ice, I never thought the Inner system would be so interesting, I wouldn't mind staying here if im being honest, its just a bit hotter than most worlds. Ivana you seeing this? You are awfully quiet...shes likely in shock from seeing such a sight in person....Ahem....Crap! Enemy vessel jumped in, target is a cruiser class, illegal weaponary detected, crap its corrosive chemical rounds! engage with caution! I repeat engage with caution!"
(I)" (Gasps) Pirate vessel?! huh? my radar shows-....Taros you dipcrap....couldnt I just be in awe in peace?! seriously its not every day you see such worlds in person...you know?"
(T)"Hey, im just keeping you on guard here. You never know when such scenarios can actually occur. Nonetheless, we were told to dock at Shipyard 8C, there we can have our ships repaired and take a relief break at a relief hotel. Defending that merchant was far more difficult than I anticipated, thanks for sniping those cruisers back there, we likely wouldve been in a worse condition than now"
(I)"You are most welcome....but I'll get you back for nearly giving me a heart attack while I was just enjoying the view..."
(T)"I would be curious as to what you come up with..."
(R)"If I had a gram of metal for everytime you two argued at eachother like an old married couple...I wouldve been able to build myself a Cruiser by now"
(I)"We are not a couple anyway, commencing docking procedures"
(T)"Im proudly taken by the love of my life thank you very much."
(R)"Well, I suppose thats fair, now, time to see Sellius on the surface...Im going for a short swim for sure! Please dont bicker..."
-Captain Ivana, Captain Taros and Captain Rectare heading to their assigned relief hotel on Sellius to wait out their battleships repairs after a deadlier than usual merchant protection mission
Sellius is a large world with plenty of land for development, explaining why it was very sought after by the commonwealth and colonized during the early 2120s. This world is also very rich in uranium hence contributing to it being an energy hub, since reactors do cover some regions and often are used to charge high storage batteries, utilised in many essential systems within ships, homes, buildings, mines, aircraft, etc. Sellius also sports a considerably large amount of Xenobiologists within the Northern Canadian Circle (Named after ancient Canada due to its affiliation with orange and red leaves during the Autumn season), hence most of it being uninhabited as its considered a Nature and science reserve. Sellius is one of the few commonwealth worlds which does host a unique organic architecture, due to architects taking a liking to the surrounding plantlife and other plantlife on other worlds, contributing to the planets tourism, which is quite a key source of income, due to Sellius hosting breathtaking views from its flat, albeit high, mountain ranges, its difficult to traverse terrain, essentially giving travellers a sense of challenge (some people do just traverse the mountanous terrain here for excercise, also earning Sellius the "Gym planet" or "Leg Day planet"), making the views feel more earned to some. Its high icy summits are home to some of rather large cities (in lore only, if I made them my phone wouldve cooked my hands), where some of the latest cold resistance technology is tested in order to see what degree of cold they can take (this degree of cold ofcourse, being low).
Sellius Itself
Having formed within the inner regions of the Strellius system, Sellius has managed to nab lots of metals and rare materials, explaining its rich composition, as for its uranium, scientists theorise that it may have likely been from several large asteroids from the outer regions (if not extrasolar asteroids) being slingshot inward on a crash course to sellius, judging by shear amount, some theorise that this asteroid cluster couldve once been part of the same forming world, likely chipped off by high velocity impacts. Sellius likely got its rings from a far orbiting moon, which was captured within the formation era, it is theorised that a 2nd moon was captured in orbit by Sellius too, this time, orbiting opposite its neighbouring moon. By the late formation era, these 2 moons had collided, ultimately giving it its rings, these 2 moons seemed to have been native to the Strellius system judging by composition.

EQUIRECTANGULAR MAP

Gain is a really good thing!
@Tallisar I see, thanks man, I really do appreciate your feedback! How are you doing?
The correct term for this planet ought to be “temperate lacustrine sub terra”. Given how the average temperature is between 250k and 330k. For the planet to be considered warm, its temperature needs to be in between 330k to 500k. @Aludra877
@Cooldude88
@Aludra877 oh,ok
@Sansu warm terra is a term used to describe earth like planets, in this case this is slightly warmer than earth so I used the term "warm terra"
Umm….this isn’t the earth I remember…………..
@AnonymousBR02 XD lol, I'm glad you like it tho
@Aludra877 But the dialogue is cool, gives lore 👍
@Aludra877 The dialogue is as long as the time we think it passes when we're diving 6 hours to go to some relative's house to spend the weekend 💀
@AnonymousBR02 thanks brother! I Appreciate your feedback! Btw what do you think abt the dialog here? Is it good or bad?
This is your average exoplanets on the inner edge of a red dwarf's habitable zone, aka, this is realistic and beautiful.
@Aludra877 probably just mountains
@Aludra877 thats strange lol
Thank you, it helped a lot
@PZLAgencies ice be ice...its just gets there...ironically I removed the Poles noise and....somehow managed to get polar regions
@mcialves ok, head to settings, then control, press the 3 dots on the top right, tap "Dev Console" and then type PlanetStudio and then tap "execute" and then "create planet" there will be a variety if templates there.
@Tallisar I do see some, idk why they are there lol...
I misrepresented that, apologies. I am referring to the grid as seen in the equirectangular map. I count roughly 8 squares in the map. @Aludra877
@Tallisar damn, I'm glad it resembles something from sci fi lol! Thanks brother! I appreciate your feedback! As well, im confused abt the cubes you mentioned, I don't seem to see them.
Live long and prosper
The resemblance to Cajitar IV from the show Star Trek: Strange New Worlds is fascinating. I like it. However, I am curious about those cubes seen in the equirectangular map.
HOLY FRICK THIS IS SOOOOO GOOD!
Probably going to take some insparation from this to the martian moon in rintares system, could use a little less ice tho
@KashmianAerospace thanks brother!
@mcialves don't have time now, will likely tell you tommorrow
How do I make planet on android
