Dresta

Dresta Is the first moon of Greneoros. A large rocky moon with an atmosphere, a tropical climate, grassy fields, mountain ranges and vast deserts. This moon has a breathable atmosphere for Droods and it even has a similar density to that of Droo. Its size is also similar to Droo. Altough this moon appears to be the perfect place to settle into it has some issues: The strong winds caused by its fast rotation together with the high surface temperatures create the perfect conditions for huge hurricanes and storms that frequently cause chaos on the surface. Coastal areas are not the best place to be in during a hurricane for sure. The vast deserts are also not a good place as there the average temperature is even highier than 304kelvin. The best areas are Indeed the subpolar and polar regions were 70% of the surface fauna and flora reside. These regions are colder than the equator and have less violent winds at times. The fauna and flora of this moon had to adapt to the strong winds: Trees are few and have strong roots anchoring them to the ground beneath them, these roots are strong and intricate reaching bigger depths compared to the trees of Earth/Droo. Most of the flora is grass and bush like having taken this shape to suffer less from the strong winds and violent storms. The fauna on this moon is mostly marine lifeforms with a huge biodiversity and rich ecosystems in the oceans. Nevertheless on the surface some complex land dwellers exist such as six legged insect like Creatures ranging in size and shape aswell as some slug like Creatures, crustaceans, some creatures that resembles earth lizards and crocodiles etc....
The moon has half the day lenght of Droo but you can get spectacular views of Greneoros in all of its glory.
