Another quick observation are convection currents. These planetary scale structures are visible from billions of meters away; the vast areas between the currents cause a huge range of temperatures on the surface: white oceans typically peak 10000 kelvin and dark oceans trough at 6000 kelvin.
The star has been alive for an unusually long time compared with typical stars of comparible mass, it is suspected to be from its liquid composition granting high efficiency for energy production.
