A simple blank template with bright, blue and green aurorae.
Definitely not the best aurorae I could make but I implore you to pick apart this template and use this method to make aurorae on you own planets, instead of using this planet directly as a template for whatever you're making.

Did you mean "AddHeight" @SeeyaTheFurry ? I use AddHight which is not only easier, but saves space and time. You can also use this method @deepfriedfrenchtoast , just drop at the top of the Auroras-Biome Pass

@deepfriedfrenchtoast Its a bit crude but the only way I know how is to add a generate height and update height after the noise in the aurorae biome and set the generate height to min 5000 and max 5000 depending on your sea level. make sure the output from the generate height doesn't go into the sub biomes.
And make sure to put CUBEMAP into the "enabled with symbols" in the advanced settings on the gen height and up height. -

Question, is there a way to make an aroura like this that shows up over water?

it's similar to the moon's atmosphere and so it's really thin you can't see it

Nice. Though I would add an atmosphere, since auroras only formed if the planet has an active magnetosphere, and an atmosphere because aren't auroras ionized particles?
WOW this is fucking awesome *adds it to every gas giant I have
