BTW, at these temperatures, the Carbon wouldn't be liquid, but would instead freeze. Actual liquid carbon is quite hot. Try liquid hydrocarbons. In an environment like this, they can remain liquid, hell, even have a cycle like that of the water cycle on Earth--that is, evaporation, condensation, and precipitation. And, it can also explain some geological features like basins or channels.
