It's rich with metals, especially iron, cobalt, and lithium, its color is probably coming from "space weathering", solar storms hitting salih quite often, giving its unique color, its Almost tidally locked but still has some rotation to it

btw "tidally locked" means the rotational period is the same as its orbital period. other wise, if it is close to or beyond the orbital period, then it just has long days
