Nyvara’s Red Dwarf is a compact, low-mass star located 95 light years from Handa, named after the Nyvara planet orbiting it. Despite its modest size, the star boasts an intense surface gravity and emits a deep crimson glow that bathes its planetary system in a soft, reddish light.
The star’s strong magnetic fields cause intermittent but powerful stellar flares, occasionally disrupting communications and affecting the atmospheres of nearby planets. Its relatively stable output, however, has allowed life to potentially develop on Nyvara’s habitable zone planets, especially Nyvara itself.
Due to its small size and dense composition, Nyvara’s Red Dwarf exerts a gravity of 1000 to 1500 m/s² near its surface, making it a challenging target for space probes and exploration crafts.
