Kyne is a ring Shepherd Moon of Limousin, the first out of 5. his name comes from Gargantua's Dog in the book.
Kyne is a small moon orbiting inside the rings in one of the many gaps that it has, being used as a stabilizer for the ring system.
It has a very cratered surface that has large amounts of veins that could have formed by the impact shockwaves from the ring debris in the joung years of the system.
it has large amount of ring dust and even reddish rock that already was there in the poles, even do someone could expect that the equatorial ridge should be reddish by the impact of ring debris, it is more gray that some parts of the moon (is that even possible?)
