Description:
About a little smaller than Earth, Sedna is an ocean world with more than 99% of its surface covered by warm saline oceans. The planet has a semi-stable climate, with global humidity being very high and almost no landmasses except for the ice caps near the poles, which account for less than 1% of surface area. The water-rich thick atmosphere scatters sunlight in lower red and pink wavelengths, resulting in characteristic pink sunsets observable at most latitudes.

Sedna's large moon, Garlan, is approximately 45% of Sedna's radius. Its strong tidal influence creates gigantic standing waves and global ocean currents that assist in developing the world's lively marine biosphere. Observations suggest a bountiful variety of heat-loving aquatic creatures — such as bioluminescent plankton and huge filter feeders — that were adapted to the planet's temperatures and saltiness.
